Mr. Frank Mundy (Director)
Director & Coordinator of Theater at South Carolina State
University. Was born in Jacksonville Florida and has been with the
university for over 20 years and has directed at other major
universities throughout the south east.
Mrs. Brenda Davis (doctor)
was raised in the small town of Monetta, South Carolina. She is married
to Gregory Eugene Davis and is the proud parent of three beautiful
children. She attends Bethlehem Baptist Church of Woodford, South
Carolina. She is a member of the Mass Choir, Integrity Praise Team, and
the youth ministry. Ms. Davis is a strong believer in Jesus Christ.
Everyday she is pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high
calling and diligently seeks His face.
Miss Brittany Blocker (angel)
is the daughter of Bishop Anthony and Lady Catherine Blocker of Irmo,
South Carolina. Brittany attends My Fathers House Deliverance
Ministries where she is licensed as a local minister. She is an active
member of the praise team where sings and dances. Miss Blocker is an
active member in the church and community where she does what she
enjoys and enjoys what she does.
Ms. Peggy Logan Whittenburg (Peggie)
is originally from White Plains, New York. She was raised in Summerton,
South Carolina, but she currently resides in Columbia, South Carolina.
She is a poet and actress. She has performed in several productions,
such as Shaking the Mess Outta Misery, Purlie Victorious, and The Wiz.
She has performed in many venues to display her poetic talents, such as
Barnes and Nobles, Three Bean Net Café and Parallel Worlds. She also
performs with Life Support, a duet team group. She is a member of the
2005-2007 Poetry Slam Team. Ms. Whittenburg is the proud parent of two
daughters, Jasmine and Charvion.
Mr. Aaron Evans (Richard)
is a native of Greenwood, South Carolina. He is proudly married to
Tonya and has a son, Jonathan. He is an ordained deacon at Friendship
Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina. Through Christian love and
faith, Mr. Evans strongly believes the words in Philippians 4:13
“I
can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Mr. Evans feels
it is his duty to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in every way
possible.
Ms. Karyn Amos Johnson (Sheila)
is an actress and middle school teacher. She has acted in numerous
plays, such as Goldielocks and the Three Bears Go to Court, Wedding
Band, The Life, Darker Face of Earth, The Blacks, Home, For Colored
Girls Who Considered Suicide when the Rainbow was Enuf, A Christmas
Carol, and St. Lucy’s Eyes. She has also performed a one woman show,
Dark Berries.
Ms. Amos Johnson is the proud parent of two children, Taylor and Herbert III.
Ms. Angela Williams (Mrs. Jenkins)
is an associate minister at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Woodford, South
Carolina. She is very active in her church where she serves as
Intercessory Prayer Warrior, Women’s Ministry Coordinator, on the
Integrity Praise Team, Bible Study teacher, and assistant to the
pastor. She has performed in theatre in This Property Is Con-demned,
Glory Train, Fist of Fury Hand of Healing, as well as other plays. Ms.
Williams is truly thankful to God for allowing her to minister through
the dramatic arts.
Mr. Curtis McNeil, Jr. (Wayne)
is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He has performed in numerous
productions in theatre and film. His theatre experience consist of, but
is not limited to, The Wiz, Purlie, The Meeting, Accomplishment, A
Soldier’s Story, Riff Raff, A Lesson Before Dying, and Twelfth Night.
He is a member of NiA and Artist Mecca. He is married to Lakisha and
has two children, Curtis III and Zahcario Daved. Mr. McNeil gives
thanks to his late mother, grandmother and NiA.
Mr. Raheen Ashimi (Mr. Jenkins)
is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina, but currently resides in
Augusta, Georgia. He is married to Sebrina and is the proud father of
four daughters, Shallaliqua, Shamakyela, Shataniquah, and Sha-mirical.
He is the playwright of Not Without God. Mr. Ashimi believes firmly
that nothing can be done without the consent of Jesus Christ who died
for our sins.
Mrs. Sebrina Ashimi (Sarah)
is a native of Mullins, South Carolina, but currently resides in
Augusta, Georgia. She is married to the Raheen, the playwright, and is
the proud mother of four daughters, Shallaliqua, Shamakyela,
Shataniquah, and Sha-mirical. She is a teacher in the Richmond County
School District in Augusta, Georgia. In her spare time she loves to
read.
